Well Head Cap

Customers brief:
To manufacture at a davit arm structure capable of withstanding fall arrest loads.
The customer required an overhead fall protection system, to allow workers undertaking maintenance / fitting operations on Oil Well Head’s – to work safely.
Whilst the Davit had to be sized to afford overhead fall protection to the end user, it also had to be removable to allow shipping across the world.

What we supplied:
We worked to structural engineers drawings to fabricate the Davit structures, each davit had to be made in 3 component parts to allow ease of transport. The Latchway Mansafe fall protection system was affixed by our customer prior to shipping.
The Davit arm & associated fall protection system provides effective overhead fall protection to engineers working on well cap heads across the globe.
