Self Closing Gates

Ascent Self-Closing gates are manufactured to be both installed with new Ascent ladders & to be retro-fitted to existing ladders.

They are designed to protect potentially hazardous areas, such as the gap between handrails at the head of a ladder provided to allow passage from the ladder to an arrival area.

We manufacture 2 styles of gate;

Ascent Full Height Self Closing Gate which includes 3 horizontal rails; a handrail, knee-rail & toe-plate, plus self- closing mechanism & fixing plate.

Ascent Self Closing Gate which includes 2 horizontal rails; a handrail & knee-rail, plus self- closing mechanism & fixing plate.
