The Challenge:
AOVs are often used by maintenance workers as an access point to the rooftop.
The open vent on the rooftop poses a potential fall hazard back to the floor level below.
The Solution:
To help minimise the risk, we developed a bespoke Ascent™ Hatch Guardrail for Automatic Open Vents and roof hatches.
The Ascent™ Hatch Guardrail is designed to fit around the Hatch / AOV upstand, reducing rooftop penetrations.
The hatch guardrail can be supplied in a “flat-pack kit” to suit various opening sizes and for ease of installation, complete with a self-closing gate.
Ascent™ Hatch Guardrails are supplied complete with a comprehensive set of installer instructions and are manufactured in our Sheffield facility to BS EN 1090 CE manufacturing standards, ensuring the quality and safety of the product.
