We are excited to announce that the Ascent walkway is currently been installed by Eurosafe on the New Everton Stadium. The stadium is situated at Bramley-Moore Dock, on the banks of the River Mersey on Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront. The 52,888-capacity arena’s eye-catching design brilliantly blends modern with the traditional. Designed by Meis Architects / Pattern Design the roof incorporates 2050 sqm of photovoltaic cells plus other items on the rooftop which require regular planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
To provide safe access to undertake these PPM works the Ascent™ walkway has been specified to create a level anti-slip walkway surface with guardrail. The walkway is affixed to the beautifully curved aluminium standing seam rooftop using proprietary non-penetrative seam clamps. To ensure the integrity of the walkway it is manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 3834-2 and BS EN 1090-1 factory production control procedures to provide CE compliance. The system itself is backed by wind-loading calculations specific to the Bramley Dock site.
