The Latest Construction Industry Event - Book Now For Free Tickets
Here at Safety Fabrications we really can’t stress enough how important it is to attend trade shows and industry events. It’s a great way of networking with others within the industry and of keeping yourself ahead of the game when it comes to new products and developments. There’s another event on the horizon and it’s free to attend – the London Build Expo 2015. It’s being billed as the “leading new Construction Exhibition for London and the South of England” and it will take place at London’s O2 on June 18th and 19th. Tickets are free from the official website and it promises to be an event to remember.
There will be more than 200 exhibitors so there’s plenty to see and do over the two days. Both days will feature free to attend CPD accredited conferences and training workshops and there will be more than 50 top speakers from companies like Balfour Beatty, Crossrail, RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects).
The construction industry here in the UK is expecting high levels of growth in the coming years, with the South of England (and London in particular) tipped to be at the forefront as the economy improves. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has identified 33 key opportunity areas for future development across the capital. High levels of foreign investment and an improving domestic economy are leading to an increase in construction projects across London and the surrounding areas.
The main sectors covered in the exhibition are:
- Light commercial construction
- Retail construction
- Healthcare construction
- Industrial construction
- Environmental construction
- Commercial construction
- Heavy civil construction
- Institutional construction
If you’re a business owner in the construction industry, then exhibiting will give you the opportunity to showcase your latest products and services in a cost effective manner that is sure to generate an increase in sales. This is a great way to enter a new market and meet the right people so that you can present yourself as a strong, developing company and mark your commitment to becoming a key player in the region.
If you’re thinking about whether or not to visit, don’t be shy – come along and network with your industry peers. It’s a great way of finding out about the latest construction projects and keeping up to date with the latest developments within the construction sector. You’ll get the chance to attend lectures and workshops and approach senior level executives from a number of national and international companies.
The workshops available include “The Future Model for Building Design” by the BIM Task Group and an interesting lecture on “Social Media Marketing in the Construction Industry”, both of which will provide some food for thought. There will also be a workshop on “How to Win Construction Projects”, a useful workshop to attend, particularly for SMEs in the construction industry.
If you’re free on 18th or 19th June, why not register for a free ticket now and attend this event – you may just find that it sets you on the road to a bright new future in the construction industry.
