Blow Your Own Trumpet - Construction News Awards 2016

18th January 2016

If you own a company that’s in the construction industry, then why not blow your own trumpet and enter for the 2016 Construction News Awards?  These are the most coveted and prestigious awards within the UK construction sector and a Construction News Award (CAN) is a badge of excellence among both clients and the supply chain.

Construction News is Britain’s leading source of construction industry news, covering all the latest trends within the sector.  Construction News also holds its annual Construction News Summit which has become the fastest growing annual business conference for the industry with more than 300 delegates in attendance at last year’s event in October.

The Construction News Awards promise to once again be the biggest event in construction, celebrating the best achievements within the industry.  The judging process is pretty stringent and rigorous and the judges are some of the most respected figures within the industry, making up a panel of more than 50 judges including the UK’s top construction clients from commercial, infrastructure and residential.

All finalists for the awards will have the opportunity to deliver a face to face presentation which will allow them valuable time to prove that they’re the best to some of the UK construction industry’s top clients – an opportunity not to be missed.  The Award categories are as follows:

·         Client of the Year

·         BIM Excellence

·         Company Innovation of the Year

·         Commercial Innovation of the Year

If you’d like to enter for any of the above categories, then you’ll need to get your skates on – the closing date is Friday, 29th January 2016.  There are sponsorship opportunities for those who don’t intend to enter for an award and you can find out more about this by following the same link.

The Awards ceremony will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 14th July, 2016 and promises to be a great opportunity to network with other movers and shakers within the UK construction industry.  Here at Safety Fabrication, we really can’t stress enough just how important it is to attend industry events of this type, as well as conferences and trade shows.  Make sure that everybody knows that you’re a player within the UK construction industry by putting yourself out there, meeting new contacts and keeping up to date with all the latest news and views within the building trade.
